- Cream cheese, 2 8-ounce packages
- Unsalted butter, 1 cup
- Pure vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon
- Powdered sugar, 1 2-pound package

Here is how to make our Favorite Cream Cheese Frosting …
Using a stand mixer with a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and unsalted butter at medium speed until it is creamy and smooth.
Beat in vanilla and then slowly add in the powdered sugar for about 5 minutes or until it is again cream and smooth in texture.
OPTIONAL: Add a few drops of food coloring at this point and mix slowly for 1 to 2 minutes.

- 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 2-lb pkg powdered sugar

Instructions
- Using a stand mixer with a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and unsalted butter at medium speed until it is creamy and smooth.Beat in vanilla and then slowly add in the powdered sugar for about 5 minutes or until it is again cream and smooth in texture. Optional: If using food coloring, you can add a few drops now and mix at slow speed for a minute or two.
